ابرق مفوّض الشرق الأوسط للجنة الدولية لحقوق الإنسان السفير الدكتور هيثم ابو سعيد الى وزير البيئة النيجيري “ملام إبراهيم جبريل” ضرورة الإهتمام بالخروقات البيئية والتقرير الذي تلقاه السفير ابو سعيد أثناء زيارته لنيجيريا حول تلوثات خطيرة تحصل في ضواحي أبوجا والعمل على الإصلاحات البيئية التي تعهدت بها نيجيريا سيما انها كانت من الدول التي وقّعت على برتوكول “كيوتو”.
وكان السفير أبو سعيد قد تلقي رسميا تقرير من السيد جورج بوكنر حول بعض المشاريع التي تُقام في نيجيريا وتؤدي الى تلوث خطير للتربة والإنسان والتي قد تؤسس أمراض جمّة منها السرطان.
وأشار السفير أبو سعيد في كلمته الذي ألقاها في المؤتمر الدولي حول الحقوق والإقتصادات حرصت اللجنة على تقريب وجهات النظر بين الأداء بين الحكومة والجمعيات المحلية التي تُعنى بالشؤون الحياتية وغيرها لتمكين الإستثمارات الخارجية الدخول على الأسواق لتوفير وظائف كثيرة من أجل تحسين الوضع الإقتصادي. وختم البيان ان نيجيريا تلعب دور مهم وفعال في القارة الأفريقية وتُعتبر الوزن والمدخل الأساسي لتنشيط الإقتصاد العالمي.

The Commissioner of the Middle East of the International Commission for Human Rights, Ambassador Haitham Abu Said, told the Minister of Environment of Nigeria that there is a need to pay attention to the environmental violations and the report received by Ambassador Abu Said during his visit to Nigeria on serious infections taking place in the suburbs of Abuja. Pledged by Nigeria, especially that it was one of the countries that signed the Kyoto agreement.
Ambassador Abu Said has officially received a report from Mr. George Buckner on some projects in Nigeria that lead to serious soil and human pollution that could lead to many diseases, including cancer.
In his speech at the International Conference on Economic Rights and Economies, Ambassador Abu Saeed pointed out the committee’s keenness to bring the performance points between the government and the local associations concerned with life and other matters closer to enable foreign investments to enter the markets to provide many jobs to improve the economic situation. The statement concluded that Nigeria plays an important and active role on the African continent and considers the weight and the main entrance to revitalize the world economy.
